WHEN: Wednesday evenings between 19:00 and 20:00
Join me for an 18-week singing workshop and learn to sing a-cappella arrangements of hits from the disco era!
This is a workshop for singers with a bit of experience who want to sing 3-part harmony in a smaller group.
During the 18 sessions you will:

Learn basic singing techniques

Learn 4-5 songs in 3-part harmony
-
Learn how to sing with flow and feeling, and listen to the other singers around you
-
Work towards a performance at the end of June
Who is this workshop for?

People who have a bit of singing experience, as well as some experience singing in a group.

People who want to sing fun and slightly challenging arrangements in a smaller group setting.

People who are willing to put in a bit of time and practise the songs at home on a regular basis
All ages are welcome! You don’t need to read music for this workshop - I supply lyrics, sheet music (pdf) and recordings of all parts for easy practising at home.

IMPORTANT: I'm visiting home (New Zealand) between the 17th of February and the 18th of March - there will be no lessons in this period! I will come up with some exercises and ideas to keep the songs fresh for the time that I'm away.

JAZZY HARMONIES
EXPERIENCED

WHEN: Wednesday evenings from 20:00-21:00

​Join me for an 18-week singing workshop and learn to sing challenging a-capella arrangements in 4-part harmony!
This is a workshop for experienced singers who are able to hold their own while singing more complex harmonies. What does that mean? Think of groups like Pentatonix, Take 6 and New York Voices!
During the 18 weeks you will:

Learn basic singing techniques

Learn 4-5 songs in 3-part and 4-part harmony
-
Learn how to sing with flow and feeling and listen to the other singers around you
-
Embrace jazzy harmonies and a bit of dissonance!

Work towards a performance at the end of June
Who is this workshop for?

Singers who are experienced in group singing, and are able to hold their own in more challenging songs.
-
Singers who are willing and able to practise in between lessons.

Singers who want the challenge of singing in a smaller group (max 8 participants) - which means being a bit more independent and having less people singing your part with you.
All ages are welcome! You don’t need to read music for this workshop, although that can be very helpful. I supply lyrics sheets (pdf) and recordings of all parts for easy practising at home.
