Singing with flow and freedom is a special and liberating feeling. Discovering and learning how to sing freely is the ultimate goal of the lessons, regardless of style or level.

Dealing with physical and mental barriers is crucial in learning how to use your voice properly. Technique and breath support are important tools for this.

ABOUT EMILY

Emily is a passionate singer and teacher with more than 12 years of experience. She specializes in close harmony/A Cappella singing and has been teaching the close harmony workshops at the popular vocal school Zang En Co in The Hague for more than 8 years.

She is the choir director of the Vocal Jazz Ensemble at the EPO (European Patent Office) in Rijswijk.

Emily graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Music from the Amsterdam Conservatorium in 2009 (jazz singing and pedagogy). Since then she's been performing, teaching, and writing her own music and arrangements.

She writes her own music under her own name (Emily Coomber) and collaborates with international artists such as Sines and Savor, writing and recording lush melodies, lyrics, and vocal arrangements.
